When a client, or student says thanks … As a trainer, instructor or coach sometimes you never know the impact until many years later. #transformation

don’t know if this is your correct address, or if you remember me. I used to be a member at USA Karate & Fitness. I would like to give this American flag to you that I took with me to Afghanistan and Iraq. I’m in Sri Lanka, an Island off the southern tip of India. The only thing is that there has been a terrorist war going on here for a while now. They have me out here working as a Marine diplomat, which is cool because you get a lot privileges. I’m also attending the University of Maryland. Just wanted to thank you once again because it was your guidance and discipline that kept my nose clean. Although you might not know it, going to your classes was the only outlet I had. I was going through really tough times in school. At home my life fell apart. I learned from you that getting knocked down is not the problem, it’s getting back up to fight harder, an stronger. To never give up or quit! And you helped me with that and I have been in the fight ever since. I cannot thank you enough for that!

In 1992, Rob was given an opportunity to bring martial arts to the forefront of the fitness world beginning at The Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival. Collaborating with Promoter Jim Lorimer and Co-Chairman Doug Grant, that came to fruition and was a huge success. He continued his efforts by meeting with the President of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championships) Dana White and Vice President Jim Byrne, as well as Joe and Ben Weider, to bring the UFC to the 2002 Olympia Weekend at The Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. This proved to be a quantum leap for the martial arts industry.

His journey led him into the entertainment industry as an actor and fight choreographer. Landing numerous roles in television, Rob became a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) with his first featured role in the TV showAcapulco H.E.A.T.  A frequent contributor to numerous publications such as Muscle and Fitness, Muscle and Fitness Hers and SHAPE, he has also been featured in celebrity-driven magazines such as Star and OK. Providing advice and tips to live a more positive, healthier fit, active and self protective lifestyle is his main goal.

Rob’s greatest satisfaction came from teaching and training people and families at his USA Karate and Fitness Center in Naples, FL; he has always been driven by his desire and passion for health and fitness, to have a positive impact and to make a difference. He has inspired thousands of adults and children, teaching them the values of martial arts and the benefits of living a healthy, fit lifestyle. He can be found working and training with business owners, schoolteachers, corporate executives, celebrities, professional athletes, law enforcement officials, state troopers, Navy SEALS, Marines and people from all walks of life. He continues his teaching and instruction through seminars, workshops and speaking engagements.
